Please tell us about yourself. What is your connection to unconventional ways of knowing?

I’m a Mindset Coach & Creator of the online program EASY PEASY LOA™ Through my coaching I show aspiring & rising female entrepreneurs struggling with a lack of clarity, overwhelm & resistance, how to create a conscious lifestyle of freedom around what they really want & who they really are using the Law of Attraction.

I wasn’t always a coach though. I built a successful career in the fast paced fashion industry as a designer for US brands such as DKNY, Banana Republic & my last position was as the Design Director for Kate Spade New York. It took me 11 years & achieving everything I ever wanted (using the Law of Attraction) to realize that I didn’t actually want any of it. Exhausted and burned out I left the industry knowing that there had to be a better way of life. After a 2 year Eat, Prey, Love healing journey from the comfort of my own apartment, I crafted a life of freedom, ease, fulfillment & fun that is a direct result of living from a more conscious & authentic place. Now I’m passionate about showing other women how to get out of the rat race & deliberately create a life that feels true to who they are & what they want to express in the world.

Tell us briefly how you found your Lost Art.

I was always an extremely imaginitive child. What I envisioned would often happen in real life. Physical things, sitauations, circumstances etc. My little sister would always complain that I always got what I wanted which only reinforced the belief. It wasn’t until I was about 19 that I discovered a book called Creative Visualization & I learned that there was a name for what I was doing and using and it was called the Law of Attraction. I became fasicinated. Not only in what I was capable of, but why it worked. I wasn’t obsessed yet, but definitely intrigued. A couple of years went by & I found myself standing in the “new age” section of a book store. It was me & one other guy who was about 6-8 feet away in the same aisle. All of a sudden a book fell off the shelf & landed at my feet. (true story!) We were both startled and I looked at him & he looked at me & said “I’d read that if I were you!”. And I did. It was Ask & It Is Given by Esther & Jerry Hicks. From that moment on I dove head first into experimentation & was determined to figure out what all of this magic was & why it worked sometime, but not others. I was determined to get to the root & I have. After 20 years of my own personal experience, I’ve created a system for using the Law of Attraction that makes it understandable, accessible & easy to use. I teach it in my EASY PEASY LOA™ online program. The process acts a guide so that you always know that you're doing it right & it allows you to see exactly where to course correct if you're not.

How have you integrated your innate talent and your Lost Art practice into your life?  What challenges  did you face in this integrative process?

To be honest, it wasn’t really a challenge because it happened over time. I was doing much of it without realizing long before I discovered it. I would draw visions or write out visions that I had in my head. Of what I wanted. And I still visualize in very much the same way today. I just understand what I’m doing & know what to do or not to do.  We’re all using the Law of Attraction whether we believe or not. Whether we want to or not.  But consciously & intentionally using it is most definitely a pracitce & a way of thinking & being in the world.

What does your Lost Art practice look like on a daily basis?

Like I said above it’s really a way of being. My thinking is so ingrained now that it doesn’t feel separate. But there is 1 thing I do every day without fail & that is my morning me time. As soon as I wake up I have what I call “coffee time” & it’s my sacred time to do whatever I want. Usually lasts about 90 mins to 2 hours. If I’m working on manifesting something I will use this time to write out my visulization because it feels good. Or I may use it to watch inspirational videos because that feels good. Or I may relax and shop online becuase that feels good. The feeling good is the key. This sets me up for the day in a positive way. It’s a non-negotiable & sends out a strong signal to the U that I’m a priority. It fills my cup. :)

What important lesson would you share with an earlier version of yourself, or to somebody who is just now exploring what a mystical path might mean to them?

I would want myself to understand that the Universe is really just a big ‘ol mirror. EVERYTHING in our own, created, personal, subjective reality is purely a reflection of what we believe & how we feel about ourselves. And it is unique to each of us. All of the answers you need in order to create the life that you really want and to return to who you really are, are staring back at you from your relationships, life circumstances & all of you expereinces, good & bad. When you become aware & learn how to “read” what you’re reflecting, you’ll know & have everything you need to create whatever life experience you want. There are no limits.

If there was only one thing a person could find the energy and resources to make a priority, what should it be?

ALLOW yourself to desire. Let yourself want what you want without guilt, without worrying about how it will affect others & without ANY limits. Let your let yourself want what - YOU - really want. You were born to desire. ALL desires lead us toward expansion & that’s the whole purpose of life. To expand. When you allow yourself to desire something you can’t go wrong. But we often ignore or try to “work around” what we really want because we think we may save something by staying where we are or feel we may lose something by changing or moving forward. I promise you that it’ll always work out for the best of everyone involved. You won’t ever experience true happiness & freedom if your desires aren’t expressed. Be true to you & your desires.
